December 5th, 2009

Redondo Beach Historical Library offers the ocean, great trees and sprawling lawn for your ceremony with an historical library building for your wedding reception. All this plus a friendly staff that makes your celebration special. Youkeun of www.yophotography.com provides this artful image of Alice and Reuel taken on the library’s grounds.

DoubleTree Hotel San Pedro Marina

October 29th, 2009

The DoubleTree Hotel hosted a fun  ‘the reception’ for their brides and grooms. Banquet manager Nikki Ford wanted her guests to experience the possibilities for their upcoming event. Guests were seated by personalized place card. The tables displayed unique linens and floral displays. A champagne toast to the Doubletree’s next couple being married started the festivities. The evening flowed from tray passed hors d’oeurves to food stations  show casing the chef’s talents, music, dancing, wine tasting, and to the traditional cake cutting.

Terranea Resort and Spa

October 27th, 2009

Terranea stands proudly on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. An ocean front resort worth taking the tour they offer to view the property.  We were especially impressed with the friendly and professional staff.

Crown Plaza

April 28th, 2009

The Crown Plaza San Pedro offers welcoming hospitality for your wedding reception. Recently remodeled the hotel has a neo-modern feel. After setting up the ballroom, we ventured over to the Blue Restaurant which flows into the lounge area with live jazz. Good food, wine, and music became the perfect way to relax after a busy week.

Erharts by the Sea

April 3rd, 2009

A Spring wedding at Fort MacArthur is too perfect. Our bride is pictured with her father before walking down the aisle. She is carrying a gorgeous fragrant bouquet of gardenias and lilac.

When she walks down the rose petal aisle, under the arch formed by raised shining swords, to the gazebo to say her vows, it is all very impressive.

Afterwords all the ceremony flowers were displayed in the ballroom, making good use of the flowers.

Lisa of LA Coplen Photography   www.lacoplen.com has provided images of a recent wedding we worked on together. The Palos Verdes Peninsula provides a great background for a romantic moment. To me this photo says, for the bride and groom, with heaven and earth as my witness, I love you.

Wedding Anniversary Party

February 2nd, 2009

The Palos Verdes Country Club looked splendid for Amar and Rupa’s 25th Wedding Anniversary Party. Flower Art with gold and burgundy as the color theme used golden mokara and cymbidim orchids with lots of rich (baccaras and leonidas) roses. For highlights we chose orange parrot tulips (imported from Holland), and golden ranuculas locally grown, and for wimsy we included burgundy gerbera daisies with black centers.Lots of amber votives dramatically accented the tables. George Caraza’s Fotographia has great images of the party on his blog. I really like his image of Amar and Rupa on the dance floor with confetti filling the air.
